An article or other publication may be produced in the context of the author’s employment at an educational institution. The author may then wonder who actually owns that article or publication and what the institution can do with it. We deal below with a number of questions about the relationship between the author and his/her employer.
1. I have written an article (or a book). Who does it belong to?
2. What can my employer do with my publications?
3. Does the collective agreement say anything about copyright?
4. I have changed jobs. Can I still use my own article?
5. Can my employer influence the arrangements that I make with my publisher?
