Due to advanced ICT applications, higher education has at its disposal a modern infrastructure and modern services that allow institutions to record and archive the results of academic research and to make them accessible.
Based on this shared network SURFfoundation will be developing new services, such as enriched publications, collaboratories and tools for quality control and registering research data over the next few years. All of these activities will be carried out in the
framework of the SURFshare programme.
