Organising with ICT
Focus Areas:
The most important activities of higher education institutions (research universities and universities of applied sciences [hogescholen]) are teaching and research. For these activities to be as effective as possible, high-quality support processes are necessary.
SURF therefore focuses on process design and organisation at higher education institutions in so far as ICT plays an important role. The current focus is on the theme of Educational logistics. Not only do we support processes that can improve education and research, we also assist in more general processes such as information policy and security.
Method
In these activities, we cooperate closely with the higher education institutions themselves, and it is their specific needs that form the basis for our work. We then develop joint activities that are supported by the institutions. That is therefore how we work: success through collaboration.
