Open Science & FAIR, how does it work?
This year the masterclass research support will be combined with the LCRDM pool of network day experts. Open Science and FAIR are important themes in research. But what does this actually mean in practice? How do you organize the support and what does it take to do so? How does an institution keep control and at the same time the balance between open science and privacy? Good cooperation between library (support), (research) IT and policy (incl. Legal) is of great importance in this. That is why the central theme is: Open Science & FAIR, how do you do that?
IT and research support staff, policy makers, data stewards, data managers, RDM specialists, privacy officers, security people.
The National Coordination Point for Research Data Management (LCRDM) and Support4research: IT support for research, are joining forces to organize the SURF & LCRDM research support and networking day this year. The program committee consists of: Laurents Sesink (Leiden University), Marijke Verheij (University of Groningen), Hilde van Wijngaarden (VU University), Peter Hinrich (Support4Research), Rogier de Jong (Support4Research), Ingeborg Verheul (LCRDM).
