Bioinformatics students practice with real data

Avans biology students are trained in the wet lab. But the dry lab is becoming more and more important: big data analytics. Avans is the first university of applied sciences to use SURFsara's Lisa computing cluster to introduce them to this in a very realistic manner. Lecturer Miaomiao Zhou explains.
