Open call for use-cases in the field of Earth Observation

The European project C-SCALE has opened a call for research projects that want to test technologies and platform services for processing and analysing earth observation data. SURF's data processing and analysis services are also part of this.
Open call for use cases

European Earth Observation Programme

The Horizon 2020 project C-SCALE (Copernicus - eoSC AnaLytics Engine) connects Copernicus data with Dutch and European infrastructure services in order to better facilitate earth observation research. SURF is a partner in this project. Copernicus is the European Union's Earth observation programme, which looks at our planet and the environment for the benefit of all European citizens. The programme provides information services based on earth observation data from satellites and in situ data (not from space).

Call for use cases

C-SCALE is at the service of European researchers, institutions and initiatives and aims to make it easier to find, access and share Copernicus data, tools, resources and services. The call for use cases is addressed to researchers, research projects, communities, infrastructures and companies interested in testing new technologies and platform services in their Copernicus or Earth Observation processing and analysis workflows. In this way, we ensure that the data and computing infrastructure, user support and training are tailored to the needs of the end user.
