Workshop: The future of collaboration – kick-off
In this kick-off workshop, we look ahead to 2035. How will researchers, lecturers and learners collaborate within and across institutions? And what will this mean for the digital collaboration environment that enables this?
- David de Wiedgebouw, Universiteitsweg 99 in Utrecht, zaal 0.40
Digital collaboration is a fundamental need in education and research. Emerging technologies such as AI and XR are set to radically transform the way we work and learn, both in practical and social terms. What do these developments mean for the interaction between researchers, lecturers and learners? What will collaboration look like in 2035?
In this workshop, we use futuring as a method to look ahead and develop a shared vision for the digital collaboration environment of the future. What is needed to collaborate securely, with control over our data and on our own terms, both within our own institution and with others? Sign up, share your ideas and help shape the future of digital collaboration.
