Save the date! On 10 and 11 November 2026, Amare in The Hague will be fully dedicated to the SURF Onderwijsdagen. For two days, you will meet colleagues from across the education field, exchange experiences and work together on solutions to today's and tomorrow's challenges.

For years, the SURF Onderwijsdagen have been the platform for knowledge sharing, innovation and connection in the education sector. This year, on 10 and 11 November, we're putting you centre stage, because we believe the best solutions emerge when we all share our own expertise, experience and creativity. Throughout these two days, you are the main character: you set the agenda, share your insights, and work alongside colleagues to build the future of education.

Will you join us? Learn, dive in and set your course
From inspiring keynotes to sessions where you and colleagues from other institutions share what works: the Onderwijsdagen are here for you. You'll discover how others are tackling the same challenges you face from AI in education to jointly building a sustainable campus at your institution.
Felienne Hermans
Felienne Hermans will open this year’s SURF Onderwijsdagen. She will discuss the importance of social sciences in technology: "When you introduce a new technique, algorithm, or AI application, you’re also making choices about how people work, learn, and interact with each other."
David van Reybrouck
At the SURF Onderwijsdagen, Van Reybrouck will explore the future with us. He will discuss what education can learn from our living environment and history. The past was shaped by deliberate choices made by people who did things differently.
Katinka Polderman
For the SURF Onderwijsdagen, Katinka will create a decision tree to provide a clear answer to the question: "Who does what: AI or me?"
