Report: Campus innovation in the Netherlands

Education is changing and campuses are changing with it.How are institutions currently approaching campus development and innovation? SURF analysed existing campus visions and accommodation strategies of institutions and concluded that connection with the environment, internal cohesion, sustainability, digitalisation and flexibility are the key themes.

Mapping the future

To map the future, it is important to see what is happening in the present in practice. SURF therefore issued a call for institutions to share existing campus visions. In this report, you will find an analysis of the submitted documentation. This analysis contributes to the project by distilling similarities and differences from visions and strategies around campus development and accommodation of various educational institutions in the Netherlands in MBO, HBO and WO.
