What you will learn
The GDPR 4 Data Support training course covers the main concepts of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG; GDPR in English). Get to know the aspects of the AVG that are most important for researchers and find out how to protect personal data in research.
Course setup
- The course consists of two in-person days, about four or five weeks apart and is guided by two RDNL coaches.
- Between the two in-person days, you will have time to study the content in the online learning environment and work on assignments.
The next training course will be in English. The physical meetings will take place on Thursday, October 2nd and Thursday, November 13th, 2025 at DANS, Anna van Saksenlaan 51, 2593 HW The Hague.
The course is intended for those who (will) support researchers in responsibly managing personal data in their research. It helps research data professionals to play a connecting role between researchers and privacy professionals such as privacy officers.
