SURF Summit 2026
The SURF Summit is the annual event for the directors of SURF’s members, the SURF Coordination Contacts (CSCs) and other administrative partners of SURF. At the SURF Summit, we come together to discuss the latest developments and key challenges. This year’s event is particularly festive, as SURF is celebrating its 55th anniversary.

At SURF Summit 2026, we will be celebrating 55 years of SURF. A significant milestone – we’ll tell you more about it during the event. The programme will be particularly festive, featuring an interactive dinner centred on the theme ‘Giving direction to growth’.

Where does the Ministry of Defense stand, and what are its priorities? What can we learn from this? Includes a Q&A session. |

| 18.00 | Seated for the three-course dinner, with a welcome from Paul de Rook, member of the Executive Board at MBO Amersfoort and host. |
| 18.05 | An opening session featuring a presentation by one of our guests on the challenges surrounding digital autonomy in education and research: how can this topic be systematically placed on the administrative agenda? Followed by table discussions: what does this mean for your institution’s strategy? |
