SURF has agreed a model contract with Wiris, which provides, among other things, the software application MathType. The advantage of this model contract is that SURF has made agreements in it that your institution can easily adopt. In the webinar, you will learn more about the organisation and the portfolio of Wiris. In a demo, you will be introduced to the functionalities of MathType and ChemType editor.
MathType is used by students, teachers, editors and technical writers. MathType features full symbol coverage and is compatible with a variety of workspaces such as Microsoft 365, WPS, Google Workspace and text editors such as TinyMCE or CKEditor. It also integrates with popular LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard or Schoology.
