What is eduXchange?

eduXchange offers a wide range of educational programmes from various alliances in the Netherlands and Europe. Participating consortia include LDE, EWUU and Kies op Maat. Visit eduxchange.nl to see the range of courses available to students. eduXchange utilises various other SURF services such as SURFeduhub, eduID and the underlying standard OEAPI. The service has been designed to the highest standards of privacy and is therefore GDPR-compliant.

eduXchange works in conjunction with various other SURF services to facilitate flexible learning. This creates a future-proof educational ecosystem in which course offerings, enrolments and learning outcomes can be exchanged between institutions with increasing ease.

Personalised study pathways for students

Student mobility is becoming increasingly important. eduXchange helps your students to put together a personalised study pathway. Through eduXchange, students can be confident that the minor or module they are taking will be recognised by their own degree programme. eduXchange supports students in enrolling on courses and exchanging data between their own institution and another.

Presenting your course offering more widely

Do you want to attract more students to your minors or modules, for example to ensure they cover their costs? eduXchange offers a reliable platform on which you can promote your course offering to students from other institutions. eduXchange also supports the associated processes between institutions, thereby helping them to become interoperable.

Kies op Maat

One of the alliances that eduXchange will be using is Kies Op Maat (KOM). The technology behind KOM is being replaced by eduXchange, ensuring the alliance is technically ready for the future. The transition is expected to be completed by early 2027.

eduXchange forms an important building block for the new national sector-wide service Register, enrol, sign up.
