Vision of digital educational resources

Promoting working with digital educational resources is a change process that requires embedding in a strategic vision. Besides addressing organisational and technical issues and organising support, lecturer professionalisation is crucial in this process.

Vision document educational resources in 2025

The Acceleration Zone Towards Digital (Open) Learning Resources has formulated a vision for digital educational resources, with 2025 as its horizon. It is about an optimal mix of educational resources, regardless of where the materials come from and whether they are commercially offered or open for use. The vision is presented in eight vision statements, along with the building blocks to make it a reality.

Quartermaster for digital (open) educational resources

The Acceleration Plan has appointed Huib de Jong, former chair of the board of the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam, as quartermaster for digital (OER) educational resources to help direct digital educational resources and to create administrative support at institutions.
