Pauline Satter completes SURF board

SURF's Members' Council has unanimously approved the appointment of Pauline Satter as a board member of the SURF Cooperative. With that, she will complete the SURF Board of Directors as of November 1. Currently, Satter is a board member of the Christelijke Onderwijs Groep (COG), a member organisation of SURF. In this position, she was also already a member of SURF's Members' Council.

Pauline Satter, appointed SURF board member: " I am enormously looking forward to my start at SURF. From the Members' Council my interest in SURF has grown and I am very happy to be able to continue that now in a role as board member.  Together with all our members, I will work for direction and autonomy in digitisation. Our cooperative is uniquely positioned to make a difference in this." 

SURF's Board of Directors is complete with Satter's appointment. Ron Augustus has been the chair of the board since October 2024. Together with Hans Louwhoff, member of the board, he has formed the board of SURF in recent months. With the arrival of Satter, in the role of board member, the board is now complete.

Harry van Dorenmalen, chair of the Supervisory Board of SURF: "We are very pleased with Pauline Satter’s addition to SURF's Board of Directors. There are great challenges for SURF in areas such as AI, autonomy and cyber resilience. With this board, SURF can take on these issues."
