Within our cooperative, we stand for safe, reliable and accessible IT facilities for education and research. To achieve this, we are in constant dialogue with ministries and MPs. Cybersecurity

IT facilities have become an essential prerequisite for teaching and research. Any disruption in availability or reliability has a direct impact on work or study. Stored data, such as research data and student grades, and the availability of research tools and digital learning resources must be trusted. Working together on cybersecurity and the resilience of the entire sector is therefore necessary for the smooth and reliable functioning of education and research in the Netherlands and worldwide.

Intercontinental connectivity

Since the emergence of the Internet, the Netherlands has developed into one of the world's most important digital mainports. From video calling and Internet shopping to data processing from the particle accelerator in Geneva, the Netherlands acts as a data hub for the entire world. This position is important for our national earning power and heavily dependent on the landing of intercontinental sea cables
