SURF Taskforce Beyond Privacy Shield
The European Court of Justice has declared the EU-US Privacy Shield invalid. This has major consequences for the use of services by SURF and its members. Additional measurs for data transfers to the US
If there is a legal basis for transferring personal data to a data importer in the US, the data exporter should determine whether, in addition to obligations between the data exporter and the data importer, additional measures may be required of the data exporter and/or data importer.
