The European Court of Justice has declared the EU-US Privacy Shield invalid. This has major consequences for the use of services by SURF and its members. Use cases data transfers to the US
The SURF Taskforce Beyond Privacy Shield has described a number of use cases in which the invalidation of the EU-US Privacy Shield has consequences for the lawfulness of the data transfer. For each use case, we make a root cause analysis, which includes mitigating measures.
