5x impact in 2022: (Inter)national collaboration

What (inter)national collaborations did SURF enter into in 2022? The National Growth Fund awarded the Digitisation Impulse Education programme EUR 560 million in 2022. Furthermore, SURF signed for sustainable digitisation and administrators and CSCs found each other sectorwide in common challenges and differences during the SURF Summit.

MBO brings volume and connection

As many as 49 of the 59 mbo institutions are members of SURF, and interest from other schools is high. Since 2014, the mbo has been represented by three members on the membership council and since this year it has also contributed to the innovation funds. This makes the sector a full member of the SURF cooperative.

National Growth Fund awards mbo, hbo and universities EUR 560 million

The National Growth Fund awarded EUR 560 million to the Digitisation Impulse Education programme in 2022. The application for the programme was jointly submitted by all public mbo institutions, colleges and universities in the Netherlands.

SURF signs up for sustainable digitisation

The National Coalition for Sustainable Digitisation (NCDD) called on the government to make a comprehensive approach to sustainable digitisation through a manifesto in 2022. SURF values sustainable digitisation and is therefore a proud co-signatory of the NCDD's manifesto.
