The two-day SURF Security and Privacy Conference will take place at Zadkine MBO, location Rotterdam Centrum. Zadkine has several entrances. We advise you to take the Teilingerstraat entrance .

Accessibility

• Public transport
  The location is easily accessible by public transport. Rotterdam Central Station and metro station Stadhuis are a few minutes' walk away. Trams and buses also stop near the location.
  
• Parking
  There are very few parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the school. There is no on-site parking for visitors. The nearest (paid) car park is Parking Hofplein. At 8 minutes walking distance. Parking garage Katshoek is another option. Due to the limited parking options, we recommend travelling by public transport.
  
• Parking for speakers
  Are you a speaker and would you like to park at Zadkine? If so, we need to provide information in advance so that a spot can be reserved. Please contact tweedaagse@surf.nl to reserve a parking space.

The NATO summit overlaps with on 25 June with the Security & Privacy Conference. There is therefore (severe) traffic disruption. Please take this into account and come by public transport.

Many construction and road works are taking place in and around the centre of Rotterdam, near the site. There may therefore be traffic disruption. Please take this into account. Please come by public transport.

You are responsible for arranging your own accommodation. Please note that there may be limited availability of hotel rooms due to the NATO summit.

Options for hotels are the Postillion hotel (about 20 minutes' walk from Zadkine) & Rotterdam Teleport hotel.

Yes, there is a locked room and open cloakroom. There is plenty of space to safely store your suitcase or bag.

The dinner on Wednesday evening is at Zadkine, at the conference venue.
You can only participate in this if you have signed up for it when registering for the conference. We will check your registration before the start of the dinner.

This year, for the first time, we are using a new event app called Yellenge.
The app contains everything about the programme, speakers and venue.

Mark sessions as favourites
For each session, you can see how many people have marked it as a favourite and how many places are still available. This helps to estimate whether there is still room to participate. Note: Marking a session as a favourite does not mean you are registered. It only allows you to customise your personal programme in the app.

Share your feedback after each session to help us further improve the experience.

Make your profile visible
By making your profile visible and marking sessions as favourites, other participants can see which sessions you plan to attend.

1. Open the app 'Yellenge' and use the event code. (The code will be provided shortly before the event).
2. Log in with your personal code. You will receive the code via email.
