Digital Competence Centres (DCCs) are taking shape. The 10 initiatives taken up by SURF in 2022 in collaboration with DCCs were recently reviewed. Including a number of interesting trajectories in the areas of virtual data assistance, Yoda, SRAM and text mining.

National Open Science Plan

Our ambition is to make all research data suitable for reuse and to make all research results available as open-access publications. Together with NWO, KNAW, VSNU, Vereniging Hogescholen and NFU, SURF endorses the Nationaal Open Science Plan.

In Europe, open science is stimulated and supported by the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). In order to give Dutch researchers easy access to this cloud, SURF is participating in various EU projects related to the EOSC.
