A single digital educational identity for vocational education, higher professional education and university education

Vocational education (mbo), higher professional education (hbo) and university education (wo) are working towards a single, shared digital educational identity. This will facilitate student mobility between institutions, give learners greater control over their own data and reduce error-prone manual administrative tasks at educational institutions. In this paper, we explain how SURF views and is working towards a digital identity for further education.
